One Mans Loss

Title

The title of the film, it is the first part of the saying 'One man's loss, another mans gain' which is inevitably what happens in this short film.
Bold and Bright, clear to read, 'ONE MAN'S LOSS' only appears for around a second, but it is long enough to read because the title appears word by word, so by the time the third word appears the other two have already been read.
Title Sequence
A catchy song is featured, introducing each character in different locations. The first character introduced is he homeless man where straight away you can see this from the fact he isn't wearing shoes and his clothes. Then when the name of the film is introduced we see him looking at the shoes. The other characters are shown in less detail but we can see the comparison between the to males (on has eveything compared to the other who has very little) and then the women who appears to be waiting for someone.
One-Minute Time Machine

Title
The title of the film is the basic to what the whole film is about, a 'One-Minute Time Machine'. It is the basis of the whole film, however we are not sure of that until we watch it, when it actually begins to make sense. The title shown above is shown for six seconds as it appears from a black screen, large and glear with clock cloggs behind it, fitting the theme. the title grows a little and the cloggs get bigger until they are consuming the whole black background giving the audience the feeling of going through the clock cloggs. After six second it just cuts out and goes straight to the two characters sat on the bench , landing the audience straight into the scene.
The Black Hole

Title

The title of the film is the basic to what the whole film is about, a 'The Black Hole'. Which makes it clear what the film will be about and after watching it, the title makes perfect sense. The title shown above is shown for approximately 4 seconds as it starts with the first image above, and then from the centre of the screen a 'Hole' appears showing blurred still footage from the office scene of the film, the hole grows, still showing the clear white title. Eventually the 'Hole' expands off of the screen but the title stays. the footage behind begins to pan across the office seen to show an empty office. We then see a blurred man come into the right hand side of the screen who appears to be the only one in the office, this is when the title fades away, whilst still painning so by the time we are focused on the man, the title is gone.
