As I was slightly less involved in the magazine, I have less to write about however, we did start off by sketching a plan of what we wanted the magazine to look like, below is what our sketch looked like.
As I was slightly less involved in the magazine, I have less to write about however, we did start off by sketching a plan of what we wanted the magazine to look like, below is what our sketch looked like.
We then began to try to create this in real life, along with trying to write the actual content for the magazine, after our first attempt it ended up like this.
However after this first attempt, we were not completley satisfied, we felt that the verdict was in the wrong place and everything was a bit too spaced out. After talking to our teacher, who told us that the writting shouldnt be centred and that we should make it look more professional so we decided we would scrap the layout - keeping the text, which we were told was good - and start again.
We decided the layout of review should follow more of what we had seen in the analysis rather than us trying be original, we felt that ultimatley it would look more professional.
So we added a page border, page numbers, the 'in cinemass' arrow and the look closer. We also moved the verdict, extended the photo, placed the title on the photo and made smaller columbs. Even added a bigger gap in the middle of the page to compensate for the fold in the page.
Below was our final outcome and we were extremley pleased with it and we felt it looked so much better than our draft.
